GENERAL TERMS AND CONDITIONS OF SALE

Last updated: September 14, 2026

These General Terms and Conditions of Sale (hereinafter the "GTC") govern sales made on the La Papeterie de Noa website, accessible at:

www.lapapeteriedenoa.com

By placing an order on the site, the customer acknowledges having read and accepted these GTC before the final validation of their order.

1. SELLER IDENTIFICATION

The La Papeterie de Noa website is operated by:

LA PAPETERIE DE NOA

Company registered in the Republic of Korea
Business number: 731-05-03620

Address:

Appartment 601, Building 105, 42, Yonghyeon-ro, Uijeongbu-si, Gyeonggi-do, Republic of Korea

E-mail: camille01@lapapeteriedenoa.com

Phone: +82-10-6649-0586

Website: www.lapapeteriedenoa.com

Hereinafter referred to as "La Papeterie de Noa" or "the Seller".

2. PURPOSE

The purpose of these General Terms and Conditions of Sale is to define the conditions under which La Papeterie de Noa offers for sale stationery products, creations and products by Korean artists and creators to consumers, particularly in France and the European Union.

The products offered on the site are selected with the agreement of the artists and creators concerned.

La Papeterie de Noa wishes to promote the work of Korean artists and allow its customers to discover and purchase their creations from South Korea.

These GTC apply to all orders placed on the site, unless specific conditions are expressly accepted in writing by the Seller.

3. PRODUCTS

Each product offered for sale is accompanied by a description outlining its main characteristics.

Photographs, illustrations, and representations of the products are presented with the utmost care. However, slight differences may exist between the photographs shown on the site and the product received, particularly due to screen display conditions, materials used, or the artisanal nature of certain creations.

Some products are manufactured or offered by independent artists. Therefore, slight variations in color, texture, finish, or appearance may exist between two copies of the same product and do not necessarily constitute a defect.

Products are offered within the limits of available stock.

4. PRODUCT AVAILABILITY

All products offered on La Papeterie de Noa are sold with the agreement of the artists concerned and according to their available stock.

As stock may depend directly on the artists or their partner shops, a product may exceptionally become unavailable after an order has been placed.

In such a situation, La Papeterie de Noa will inform the customer as soon as possible.

Depending on the circumstances, the Seller may propose:

  • an additional delay if the product can be restocked;
  • an alternative product with the customer's agreement;
  • or a refund for the unavailable product.

The customer will be informed of the proposed solution.

5. PRICE

Product prices are indicated on the site in euros (€).

The applicable price is that displayed on the site at the time of order validation.

Any shipping costs are indicated before the final validation of the order.

The Seller reserves the right to modify its prices at any time. However, a price modification cannot be applied to an order that has already been validated and paid for.

VAT and import fees

Products offered on the site are shipped directly from South Korea, a country located outside the European Union.

Under the shipping system currently used by La Papeterie de Noa, French VAT and any import fees are not collected at the time of payment on the site.

Therefore, the price paid when ordering corresponds to the price of the products and any shipping costs indicated at the time of the order.

Upon arrival of the package in France, the recipient may be required to pay:

  • import VAT;
  • any applicable customs duties;
  • any presentation, customs clearance, or handling fees charged by the carrier or postal service.

These amounts are independent of the price paid on the site.

The exact amount of any import fees depends in particular on the value, nature, customs classification, and composition of the goods, as well as the rules applicable at the time of their importation.

Since July 1, 2026, European rules applicable to small imported shipments have changed. The goods concerned may, in particular, be subject to a flat-rate customs duty of €3 per declared item line, under the conditions provided for by the applicable regulations.

The amount that may be claimed upon receipt cannot therefore be determined in advance by La Papeterie de Noa.

Customers are advised to take note of these conditions before placing an order.

6. ORDERS IN SETS OR BUNDLES

Whenever possible, La Papeterie de Noa recommends that its customers opt for product sets or bundles.

Grouping several units belonging to the same category or customs nomenclature may, depending on the applicable rules, allow certain products to be grouped on the same declaration line, thus limiting certain flat-rate duties related to the number of declared lines.

However, this recommendation provides no guarantee regarding the final amount of import fees.

La Papeterie de Noa undertakes to declare goods in accordance with their actual nature and value and does not under-declare value.

7. ORDERING PROCESS

The customer selects the products they wish to purchase and adds them to their basket.

Before final order validation, the customer can:

  • check the selected products;
  • modify quantities;
  • remove products;
  • check the total price of their order;
  • check delivery information.

The customer is responsible for the accuracy of the information provided when ordering, including:

  • first and last name;
  • full address;
  • postal code;
  • city;
  • country;
  • email address;
  • phone number

An error in the delivery address may result in a return or new shipment, so the customer is advised to carefully check their information before validating their order.

The order becomes final after payment validation.

An order confirmation is sent to the email address provided by the customer.

8. PAYMENT METHODS

Payment methods available are indicated on the website at the time of order.

Payment is made at the time of order, unless otherwise stated.

The order is considered validated after payment confirmation.

La Papeterie de Noa reserves the right to suspend or cancel an order in case of refused payment, security issue, reasonable suspicion of fraud or obviously erroneous information.

9. ORDER PREPARATION

Each order is prepared with care.

Given the inventory management of our partner artists and in order to confirm product availability before shipment, a preparation time of 2 to 5 business days is generally required.

This period begins from the confirmation of the order and payment.

The preparation time is distinct from the transport time.

Therefore, an order may require several business days before shipment, to which the international transport time is then added.

In case of exceptional delay in preparation, the customer will be informed as soon as possible.

10. DELIVERY

Orders are shipped from South Korea.

For orders to France, La Papeterie de Noa may use the K-Packet service from Korea Post, or any other delivery service indicated during the order.

Delivery time depends notably on:

  • the carrier;
  • the country and destination region;
  • transport conditions;
  • any customs controls;
  • periods of high postal activity;
  • exceptional circumstances that may affect international postal services.

The delivery times indicated on the site are estimates and do not necessarily include the 2 to 5 business day preparation time.

A delay related to customs clearance or an event beyond the Seller's control does not necessarily constitute a delay attributable to La Papeterie de Noa.

However, the consumer's legal rights regarding delivery remain applicable.

11. CUSTOMS AND IMPORT

The customer is informed that products are shipped from a country located outside the European Union.

When applicable regulations so provide, the customer may be considered the importer of the goods upon their entry into the destination country.

Any customs duties, import taxes, 20% import VAT, and handling or presentation fees charged by the carrier or competent authorities may be borne by the recipient.

La Papeterie de Noa provides the necessary customs information and makes its declarations based on real information about the goods shipped.

The Seller does not guarantee the amount of any duties or taxes determined by the authorities of the destination country.

The Seller cannot modify decisions made by customs authorities or fees applied by the carrier.

The customer is advised to inquire about the import rules applicable in their country before placing an order.

12. RECEIPT OF THE PACKAGE

Upon receipt of the package, the customer is invited to check the external condition of the packaging.

In case of a visibly damaged package, the customer is invited, if possible, to immediately report the damage to the carrier and to keep any useful evidence, including photographs and delivery documents.

In case of damaged, missing, or non-conforming product, the customer must contact La Papeterie de Noa as soon as possible, indicating:

  • their order number;
  • the product concerned;
  • a description of the problem;
  • photographs of the product and its packaging when relevant.

This process does not deprive the customer of their legal rights.

13. RIGHT OF WITHDRAWAL

When the right of withdrawal provided for by applicable regulations applies, the consumer has a period of 14 days from receipt of the goods to exercise their right of withdrawal, without having to justify their decision.

When the order includes several goods delivered separately, the period may run from the receipt of the last good, lot, or element concerned, in accordance with applicable rules.

To exercise their right of withdrawal, the customer must inform La Papeterie de Noa of their decision by means of a clear statement, particularly by email to:

camille01@lapapeteriedenoa.com

The customer may use the standard withdrawal form at the end of these GTC, although its use is not mandatory.

After informing the Seller of their decision, the customer must return the product within the period provided by applicable regulations.

Unless otherwise stipulated or in the case of a non-compliant product, the direct return costs may be borne by the customer if they have been previously informed.

Reimbursement is made in accordance with applicable rules, particularly within the legal period provided from the exercise of the right of withdrawal, subject to conditions allowing the Seller to defer reimbursement until the goods are recovered or proof of their shipment is received.

When reimbursement is made, it covers the amounts due in accordance with applicable rules.

The reimbursement of any duties, taxes, or import fees paid directly to the authorities or the carrier during import must be assessed according to the rules applicable to these amounts and according to the legal possibility of their restitution.

14. EXCEPTIONS TO THE RIGHT OF WITHDRAWAL

The right of withdrawal does not apply to products or situations expressly excluded by applicable regulations.

These may notably include:

  • goods made to the customer's specifications or clearly personalized;
  • certain sealed products that cannot be returned for reasons of hygiene or health protection when their packaging has been opened after delivery;
  • other categories of goods or services for which the law provides an exception.

When an exception to the right of withdrawal concerns a product offered on the site, this information will be indicated to the customer before order validation when regulations require it.

15. LEGAL GUARANTEE OF CONFORMITY

Where French provisions relating to the legal guarantee of conformity are applicable, the consumer benefits from this guarantee under the conditions provided by law.

The legal guarantee of conformity covers, in particular, defects of conformity existing at the time of delivery of the goods, as well as defects resulting from packaging, assembly instructions, or installation when the latter falls under the seller's responsibility.

For new goods, action under the legal guarantee of conformity may be exercised under the conditions and deadlines provided for by the Consumer Code.

When the legal guarantee of conformity is applicable and a defect is found, the consumer may benefit from the solutions provided by the regulations, particularly repair or replacement of the goods under legal conditions and, when these solutions are not possible or in other situations provided for by law, a price reduction or cancellation of the contract.

No clause in these GTC may have the effect of removing or limiting the legal guarantees enjoyed by the consumer.

16. LEGAL GUARANTEE AGAINST HIDDEN DEFECTS

When the provisions relating to the guarantee against hidden defects are applicable, the customer benefits from this guarantee under the conditions provided by the applicable regulations.

The Seller may be held responsible for hidden defects in the sold product that render it unsuitable for the use for which it is intended, or that so diminish this use that the buyer would not have acquired it, or would have paid a lower price for it, had they known about them.

The customer wishing to invoke this guarantee must contact the Seller to allow them to examine the situation and propose the solution provided by the applicable regulations.

17. RETURNS

Before any return, the customer must contact La Papeterie de Noa at:

camille01@lapapeteriedenoa.com

The Seller will provide the necessary return instructions.

Returned products must be adequately protected to limit the risk of damage during transport.

Within the framework of the right of withdrawal, the customer is responsible for any depreciation of the goods resulting from handling other than what is necessary to establish the nature, characteristics, and proper functioning of the product, under the conditions provided by law.

In case of a non-compliant or defective product covered by a legal guarantee, the applicable rules concerning return costs apply.

18. LIABILITY

La Papeterie de Noa undertakes to respect its obligations as a seller.

However, the Seller cannot be held responsible for events reasonably beyond its control, including:

  • natural disasters;
  • conflicts;
  • governmental restrictions;
  • strikes affecting transport or postal services;
  • significant disruptions to international postal services;
  • events affecting transport infrastructures;
  • customs blockages or controls beyond the Seller's control.

This provision shall not have the effect of depriving the consumer of their legal rights.

19. INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY

The texts, photographs, illustrations, drawings, designs, logos, graphics, visual elements, names, as well as all content present on the La Papeterie de Noa website are protected by applicable intellectual property rights.

The works and creations presented on the site are made by La Papeterie de Noa's partner artists and creators and remain their property, or that of their respective rights holders. Their presence on our site is with their authorization.

La Papeterie de Noa does not tolerate any unauthorized use of the works presented on its site. Any copying, reproduction, downloading, capturing, modification, adaptation, misappropriation, redistribution, publication, or use, particularly for commercial purposes, of a work, illustration, design, photograph, or any other content belonging to an artist is prohibited without the prior authorization of its rights holder.

It is notably forbidden to retrieve illustrations or visuals presented on the site to reproduce them on other products, websites, social networks, advertising materials, or online shops, or to use them to create derivative products without authorization.

The purchase of a product does not confer any intellectual property right over the work, drawing, illustration, design, or image associated with it. The acquisition of a product only authorizes its personal use within the normal scope of its use.

Any unauthorized use of a work or content may lead to action taken against the responsible person or organization to cease such use and, where applicable, to assert the rights of the artists concerned.

We ask everyone to respect the work, creativity, and rights of the artists we are fortunate to represent.

Failing an amicable agreement, the dispute may be submitted to the competent courts in accordance with the mandatory rules applicable to the consumer and the seller.
